Hamble Airfield
I've recently visited Hamble Airfield and was struck by the natural beauty of the area. It's a place that has simply been left and, as always when this happens, nature has taken hold with all its wonderful vitality.
There are fresh plans to use the area for gravel extraction and, as a Parish Councillor, I've attended a presentation given by agents for the developers concerning these plans.
At present, I'm particularly interested in learning more about the wildlife that calls Hamble Airfield home and understanding just which species are present.
